Meeting planned on hotly debated Creston water bottling plant

CRESTON -
A valley-wide community meeting is scheduled for next week to address concerns about a proposed water bottling plant in Creston

Local resident Lew Weaver is proposing plans to produce nearly 200-million gallons of bottled groundwater per year from the banks of the Flathead River.
Water for Flathead's Future is a grassroots organization opposing the plans for Weaver's Montana Artesian Water Company.

Thousands support Ontario government moratorium on new bottled water operations

TORONTO – Ontario will formally impose a two-year moratorium on new or expanded bottled water companies as of Jan. 1, 2017 after thousands of people expressed support for the ban.

Egan Slough landowners sue county
